Electric Drive Train for a 2 Passenger ATV

Our Mission

Our goal is to design a completely electric power plant that serves to replace the internal combustion engine typically found in All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs).

This power plant must be capable of producing 9-12 HP and reaching top speeds of 27-36 mph. We also must design the rechargeable battery system that is capable of providing power to a robust control system. This vehicle must be able to operate in a variety of off road conditions, so a drive train capable of Front-Wheel Drive, Rear-Wheel Drive, and All-Wheel Drive will also be designed.
